New Theme Soon

This is going to be just an update post since I am very busy with my upcoming theme. As I can recall, the first and last theme that I used for this site is the PinkRoyalty v1 and now… I am totally bored with it, aren’t you? So, as soon as the v2 theme will be finished and used here, I will modify a few codes in the v1 theme so that I could give [ PinkRoyalty v1 theme] for FREE. I’ll discuss everything about the theme soon. As for now, it is 70% finished. It took me a lot of time to code it since I started from scratch, found some inspiration and waited patiently for a concept to pop out of my system. Gladly, I used a chibi doll as my banner since it is soooo cute. There’s lots of candy canes used in this theme. By tomorrow, I am going to encode wordpress codes into the theme. There were lots of activities in the previous days which hindered me from polishing my beloved theme. Probably, within this [next] week, the theme will be brought to life (due to some circumstances). Still, there’s more pink paint to spill for my new web theme…

Sweet Sixteen

Yep, I’m a year older since November 12, 2008. I’ve had fun that day since it was like the usual days yet there’s that something that made it distinct from the status quo. We rehearsed our dances for the forthcoming Cultural Show this November 20, 2008. While I was watching the lower years practice their song, a group of friends came to me and asked me if I could close my eyes. I said, “Sure!” It’s obvious why they should do it; it’s my birthday, duh. They said that they’d give me something terrifying, somewhat like a reptile. So what?? Like I’m a wuss, bring it on! Then came this cute [letter that I have not read until yesterday] stating these touching quotes: … may you have more birthdays to come. It came from the Libz Girls. Other than that, Mint gave me a tiny piece of rounded wood [about the size of my pinky's nail] and said it was for good luck and more [money flowing into my pouch]. However, I noticed in the following days that the complete opposite had happened. From my weekly budget [minimum of P500], by Friday I had already consumed 75% of it [for projects, researches, food,etc.] when normally I would spend only half of the total budget. arghhh! marami pa akong utang, ano ba??!! Syempre, pagsapit ng tanghali, my folks made me eat my favorites: Chicken something na may sabaw, chicken something na colored, basta chicken e nakakalimutan ko ang name no’ng putahe.

Prologue: Before all that jazz, when I came to school [late] because our Tech-Voc teacher was in a seminar about who-knows-what and I am occasionally coming to school late, I went directly to the covered court where all the action was. Crazy people were dancing. Whatever, another boring day. Then came these strangers offering me a lousy monotonous song of the traditional Happy Birthday. It was indeed lousy but everyone’s attention was grabbed. I tried to tell them to shut up but they’re too stubborn to listen. I was touched by these humans I call my friends and classmates. Of course, I did not dare forget to say thanks to them. They really did spice up my day.

Epilogue: There was a mass; ’twas not for me but for the school — the monthly mass, every first Wednesday of the month. [My classmates and I] sat at the choir’s seat and sung until the mass had ended. They unexpectedly sung infront of me another decent version of the Happy Birthday song and wittingly clapped their hands. There were a few [schoolmates and teachers] left in the place while they were singing and I felt terribly… proud!

It was sad though how my closest friends weren’t there during the blowout, a few hours after the mass. Janesly and Gildie went home early. They sure knew it was my birthday. It wasn’t a big deal though but on the next day, Gildie suddenly demanded to have a re-do of the blowout. I said, “Squeeze me?! [slang: excuse me, White Chicks]” Janesly didn’t even bother asking me that since I told her that even the all the food we ate during the blowout was scarce for thirty out of fourty-two students. Mind you, I’m not a rich girl. It was also hard for me to not provide them with adequate food. Then someone named Cathy shed some light during my time of despair. She’ll be celebrating her 16th birthday this November 18, 2008. I’m glad na babawi na lang daw siya sa mga pagkukulang ko regarding sa food. haha! :drink: We used to collaborate about our birthday celebration. Well, that was a few months ago. We planned to celebrate our birthdays on one single day, on November 16 para mas tipid and mas marami ang malilibre. Mas mabuti sana kung ganun na lang.

UPDATE: I was accepted at BlogToProfit a week ago and received 4 opps. I blogged two of them since the other two opportunities would be resubmitted. Nakakatamad kasi kagabi ko lang na-blog yun at due date na ngayon. Try nyo B2P. opps never appeared sa Bloggerwave account ko, bakit??!

Queen of the Blues (1979)

Mary Millington is Queen of the Blues! The aforementioned title is a 1979 film directed by Willy Roe, written by George Evans, and runs for just 62 minutes! Plot summary: A seedy striptease club in London’s West End becomes the target for unpleasant crooks. The club’s owners (John M. East and Allan Warren) are blackmailed into paying out large wads of cash, but star attraction Mary Millington saves the day with her energetic stripping! This is one movie you don’t see everyday. This movie is also known as Queen of Spades (Australia) (video title) and was aired in London, UK on July 26, 1979. It was starred by: Mary Millington (Mary, Queen of the Blues); Rosemary England (Jill); John M. I know that I’m a discreet type of person compared to other bloggers. I still felt discomforted by my exposure rather my life’s exposure to people I don’t exactly know. I know names and sites if not emails but not in the real world. I do find it odd that despite being on top of my high school ‘career’ makes it hard for me to blog it off my chest. I just want other people to understand that I’m being anxious because of our forthcoming graduation [by March, next year]. Yeah, it’s too early to be so anxious. I just don’t have any definite plans for college as of the moment. I just hope that I’ll be successful in life by choosing the right path with the right decisions, without turning back… and say, “I’m so damn right! ” :wink:.

I’m just happy that beside the fact that I haven’t updated my blog as often as everyday, I’m glad to announce pinkroyalty.net got its first page rank. haha!

In case you have wondered where I was these past few days, I’m updating my other blog at SATURNIANSONLINE.BLOGSPOT.COM so often that I almost forgot to update this kingdom of mine. It has a lot of media in it which makes it so time-consuming in terms of uploading and publishing it online. It still has a label of “Revamping” because it is, occasionally being revamped by yours truly.
