M times four = 4M. Char2x lang. Math Olympics, Movie Marathon, Mindanao Blogger’s Summit 2, and Motherboard are the four Ms I could possibly blog about today.

6th Secondary Division Math Olympics. I just got home from Alabel kaninang 5 am [ yeah, too early to go home ] after our short stay in the Alabel National High School kahit na medyo nakaka-bad trip yung quarter namin. So far, ngayon lang yata kami nagkaroon ng maraming participants based on my 4 consecutive years of participation sa Math Olympics as a Team Quiz Member. Our school participated in the Individual Quiz and Team Quiz [ Level 1 to 4 ] , Mr. and Ms. Math Wizard, and Math Trail. As a senior, it feels so good [ for the three of us in the team ] to be the 1st Runner-up in the Team Quiz Level 4. First place would have been better but being the runner-up is also ‘fine’ for us. I really enjoyed lots of our bonding times not only with my classmates but also with my schoolmates.

Movie Marathon. Wala akong masyadong magawa after running errands and helping my mum to put up all the decorations for Christmas kaya nag-movie marathon ako, sa laptop mismo ni kuya. It feels weird though ’cause I’m not that Christmas-lover person. Believe it or not, I have a strange negative insight about Christmas. That gift-giving and all the celebration is just like… nothing more? ’twas like all the past celebrations made me the “Grinch” of the family. And then I thought about movies. Tapos na palang ma-download ng MiuTorrent yung movies. And so I watched the “You Don’t Mess With The Zohan”, “The Fall”, “Next Avengers, Heroes of Tomorrow”, and “The Promotion”. I reviewed some episodes of “Little Mosque on the Prairie” Season 1 to 3 and “TopDesign”. I’ve been planning to download the first season of “Project Runway”. I’m so dying for this TV series that I wished na sana may cable kami. I totally forgot na may special exam pa kami tomorrow at 1:00 PM and on Monday.

MBS2. Balak ko sanang pumunta sa MBS2 today pero pinauwi na kami ng isang coach namin. Malapit lang naman ang Alabel sa GenSan eh. Manonood pa sana kami ng sine, kakain, mag-shopping, etc. sa mall. Malas lang talaga, siguro next week na lang ako pupunta sa mall with my friends. May sale pa naman kapag saturday! Bummer!

Motherboard. Eto pa ang isang issue. Nasira ang PC ko two months ago, the reason why hindi pa ako nagiging ganap na web developer and designer. Nandun lahat ng programs na ginagamit ko, 80% lang ang nandito sa laptop ni kuya. Nahihirapan akong maki-insert sa paggamit ng laptoppy kasi nocturnal monster si kuya and sa gabi lang ako pwedeng mag-computer on weekdays, andami pa ng dinadownload na torrent. Ibebenta ko pa sana yung theme ko. Nagkakapera na sana ako ngayon! Kakarating lang ng inorder ni kuya na Motherboard para sa sirang PC. Malas nga naman at maling model pa yung dumating. tsk tsk…

Yep, it happens only once in a blue moon, I’ve finally changed my theme! It’s really hard to change themes when you’re not in the mood that’s why I searched and found a theme that suits my mood these days. Green has a sense of relaxation and calmness, practically what I need in times of sickness. I’ve been sick in the previous days [see my previous post] and finally coped up with the harshness of my tummy aches.

Frustrated enough, I can’t seem to find a download link for the pink version of Lady in Green by Gebala Tomasz. Sad to say it’s exclusively for his girlfriend. Now that’s one lucky girl. Having a skillful webdesigner as a boyfriend is quite handy. Anyway, I just dropped by to say good luck to myself for the Math Olympics this coming Thursday and Friday and for this e-Competition IT Quiz Bee I’ve been planning to join this Sunday at the Tuna Capital, Gen. Santos City. Good Luck!

ahh… i guess it would have been so much easier if I’d rather post a photo blog-post instead of the usual boring post I used to type every time I have some ramblings to say. There had been tons of events while I was hibernating in the blogosphere.

There was this week-long celebration of our 94th Foundation Day for more info, click THIS LINK. The celebration started from Oct. 1-8. The highlight of the celebration is the 9th Lubi-Lubi Festival Street-dancing Competition, read more, click ME.

Next to that was our 2-week practice for the recently concluded Sarangani Division English Festival 2008 held in the Alabel Capitol on Oct. 17, 2008 wherein I won 2nd place in Smart Talking and my classmates and I won Champion or first place, rather in the Speech Choir Competition . Contestants, representing our district [Glan] and school [GSAT] won many events as well all in 1st place, 2nd place and one got 3rd. We did not participate only one event which is the Photo Essay [I was supposed to be the participant for that] but I was not able to do so because the Photo Essay Competition started simultaneously with the Speech Choir . I’ve disappointed a few teachers because they were expecting that I would have been the champion for they believe in my potential. But let’s keep that away for now.

Next up is the examination, Oct. 23 and 24. I have scanned my notebooks in 4 subjects. Many of us were exempted from 1 subject in the exam, Entrepreneurship because of our outstanding group garden work. That’s a big hell of a break, I should say. Eliminating 1 subject can really make us happy . There’s still 3 more subjects to study. 2 of them requires much attention because of their complexity.

Last on the list is the Sarangani Division Math Olympics, Oct. 2- something [said to be simultaneous with our exam]. We’ve already declared who are the representatives of our district [Glan] because of the 1st District Math Olympics Elimination held in Glan on Oct. 10, 2008. Many of the representatives are from my school, GSAT while some students from Pangyan will represent Glan in a chess-like contest called Damath. I’ll be on the Senior Team Quiz for the Math Olympics ‘08.

I got sick of on-and-off fever for a few days starting from Oct. 10, also experiencing a few tummy aches because I unconsciously skipped two meals. I went to the doctor that same day. On Oct. 14, again, I went to see a doctor and he said I have amoeba. I mean, really… seriously? I think it was true because I vomited twice and etcetera symptoms of amoebiasis. I’m feeling well now, actually. Back to normal. I’m excited for this week. Looking forward to competitions.

By the way, I also made a site for [our] section — the section Saturn — of the Seniors, batch 2008-2009 of Glan School of Arts and Trades, Glan, Sarangani Province. It’s not a hundred percent complete but my classmates said that it’s OK. Others said, “…looks good!” and Synna said it’s “cute”. We’ll see ’bout that in a few ages.

I’ll to try to encode my theme-for-sale as customizable as possible and as soon as possible. Actually, no one is interested and I might have to give it all for free [in the goodies section]. Aaaaand I don’t have all the time in the world. Such a bummer! That’s why I keep this motto [from a movie] in my heart: “Life sucks, shit happens.”. It’s up to you to analyze what “Life” and “Shit” means in that given sentence/phrase.
